AnneZ isn't new to avian flu, she's been a member of flu forums for quite some time. I've had the pleasure of chatting with her on a number of occasions. I just discovered today that she has now started a blog.
AnneZ hails from New Zealand, and her new blog, A Bird Flu Commentary is a welcome addition to the world of Flublogia. I've placed a link in my side panel to her site.
I'm always delighted to see new bloggers on the subject of avian flu and pandemic preparedness, but I'm particularly pleased when we see representation from countries around the world.
New Zealand is one of the most advanced nations in the world when it comes to pandemic awareness. Their government, early on, determined that avian flu posed a serious threat. News from New Zealand is, therefore, very important to watch.
