Bandung, West Java – Two patients from Cipatat, Kabupaten West Bandung are treated at flamboyan room Hasan Sadikin hospital (RSHS) Bandung. Patients are family.
Head of Bird Flu Control, dr Hadi Yusuf said patient A (26) and F (14) were directed from public health center Cipatat. Patients had contact history with fowls.
Birds suddenly died around patients neighborhood”, said Hadi.
Patients were admitted to the hospital with high fever and coughing signs. “No breathing difficulty found. They’re in good condition, and not equipped by breathing assistant device”, added Hadi.

Cianjur, West Java ::: Outbreak in chickens. One human suspect found.
April 4, 2009Cianjur, West Java – Livestock, Fishery and Marine Service Kabupaten Cianjur affirmed the cause of fowls death in four districts was bird flu virus.
At least 132 native chickens found suddenly died lately in Kecamatan Mande, Sukaluyu, Cilaku, and Campaka. Twelve of them tested positive bird flu virus by rapid test. One human suspect, Ade (50), Kampung Cikeukeup, Desa Cidadap, Kecamatan Campaka was also reported to having bird flu symptoms. This suggestion made according to report of participatory disease surveillance and response (PDSR).
