I’m always on the lookout for decent pandemic educational materials, particularly for people who haven’t a good grasp on the pandemic threat.
In the past I’ve highlighted many excellent videos and teaching aids.
Today, I’ve a new one to add to the list. Produced by the Two Rivers Health Department in Nebraska, this video is suitable as a basic introduction to the threat of an influenza pandemic.
It was made in the summer of 2007, so the number of reported cases of H5N1 are nearly two years out of date – still, the basic concepts of this video are pretty good.
The video runs about 14 minutes, and is hosted on Youtube in two parts.
Hardcore flubies may not find much new here, but this could be useful to send to people who – as yet – haven’t taken the pandemic message to heart.
