HHS Releases New Antiviral Guidance Documents

In advance of tomorrow's HHS PlanFirst webcast, the HHS has released two new guidance documents on antiviral stockpiling and use during a pandemic.   

 

The webcast is set for 2pm ET, Wednesday Dec. 17th.

 

The two new documents are available as PDF files, or may be read on the web.

 

 

• Guidance on Antiviral Drug Use during an Influenza Pandemic

 

• Considerations for Antiviral Drug Stockpiling by Employers in Preparation for an Influenza Pandemic

 

 

These revised guidance documents come six months after preliminary guidance was released, along with a call for public comment.
