It's been a whirlwind 60 hours, and I returned late last night after 9 hours in transit. As you might imagine, going to D.C. and participating in the pandemic exercise was quite an experience, and I'll write on it later today.
First, however, I need to catch up on the news.
A big thanks to Crof and Scott for covering the waterfront in my absence, and my deep appreciation to all of the well wishers who emailed or contacted me about this trip. I know I owe some people some emails, and will try to get to them today.
And my thanks too, to Stephanie Marshall along with everyone else at the HHS for inviting me to this exercise. It was . . . well, fascinating.
