Promed-mail is an electronic outbreak reporting system that monitors infectious diseases globally, and is a product of the ISID (International Society for Infectious Diseases). I know of no better way to keep tabs on the dozens of outbreaks of diseases worldwide.
As good as these email reports are, they got better with the addition of an interactive world map displaying all reported activity, with live links going back to the promed-mail advisories.
Whether you are interested in Avian Flu, Cholera, Bluetongue, Dengue, or Marburg virus, this map tracks them all. Together, or individually.
