NBC will use the Today Show, the NBC nightly news, MSNBC's Chris Matthews show, and Dateline on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in a full court press on Avian Flu. Multiple segments are planned.

This Sunday, Dateline will devote an entire hour to the Avian Flu, in what will be the most extensive network coverage of this issue to date. While cable news networks have devoted much airtime to this subject, the big networks (with the exception of ABC's news segments) have largely ignored the threat.
On Sunday nite, the nation get's a wakeup call. And a little more than 2 weeks later, an ABC TV movie.
